Sydney and AJ met back in 2017 at Queens University of Charlotte. Sydney starting her junior year playing softball and AJ beginning his sophomore year playing lacrosse. The two happened to be assigned rooms right across the hall from each other in Byrum. They met the first week and quickly started spending all their time together.

After a day on the lake AJ asked Sydney to become his girlfriend and soon the two became inseparable. The first year was filled with Sushi dates, concerts, boat days and supporting each other for game days.

In 2022 they decided to relocate to Florida with their cat Bueller and dog Callie. AJ started his career with United Rentals and Sydney began working for Emerson Lakes. On August 9th 2024, AJ planned a beach date where he would ask Sydney to marry him. They are now both thriving in their careers and just bought a house in Venice, Florida.
